Read the attachment requirements first
Obtain the manual for the exact attachment and motor or tool variant. Record its permitted flow range, pressure requirements, return conditions, case-drain requirement and controls. Use the published terminology and units. A generic description such as high flow is a package label, not a universal specification shared by every manufacturer or generation.
Compare the installed carrier circuit
Identify what is physically fitted and enabled on the used machine. Distinguish total pump output from the auxiliary circuit information supplied for the tool. A dashboard setting, extra hose or decal alone is incomplete evidence. Have a qualified technician verify the configuration and any necessary testing; ask for a written result that states the test conditions and connection point.
Include return and electrical details
A mechanical mount and two matching couplers do not settle return routing or control compatibility. Record any dedicated case drain, allowable return back pressure and electrical connector or control-module requirements. Confirm adapters and hoses with the relevant suppliers. Do not improvise a drain or bypass a control function to make an attachment appear operational during a sale demonstration.
Cost the complete commissioned system
List mounting hardware, couplers, hoses, electrical controls, setup, testing and any required guarding. Ask who is responsible for confirming the completed pairing. If an attachment is the main reason for buying a carrier, make successful commissioning part of the decision process. Preserve the resulting configuration record so future attachment changes can be assessed consistently.
