Choose how the debris will be handled

Describe the surface, debris and where collected material will be emptied. An angle broom and a collection sweeper create different workflows. Check the working width and turning space against curbs, parked equipment and doorways; a wider attachment may reduce maneuverability on the actual route.

Plan dust and hydraulic requirements

Review the manufacturer’s instructions for the surface and material, including any required dust-control equipment. Verify flow, pressure, controls and attachment mass against the carrier configuration. Confirm the presence and condition of any water system or collection equipment being represented in the quote.

Inspect the consumables and drive

Check brush wear and adjustment, drive bearings, motor, hoses, mount and housing. For a collection unit, inspect the hopper, edges and dumping mechanism. Price replacement brush components and damaged wear parts before comparing used attachments. A clean exterior does not show the remaining brush life or hopper condition.
